Welcome to the Leelanau Township Emergency Services website.
Our Emergency Services include a 24-hour LALS ambulance and a volunteer fire department serving the villages of Northport and Omena and all of Leelanau township.
Leelanau Township Fire Department, also known as Northport Fire Department, is an innovative and diverse department of dedicated volunteers. We are very fortunate to have some of the most talented people in the fire service working here.
Our full-time EMS staff serves our community with compassionate patient care in emergency situations, and each member is held to the highest standards both medically and professionally.
As a department we value our past, see many present possibilities and are looking forward to the challenges of the future. We are committed to giving our community the best service possible not only because it's our job but also our privilege.
